Accommodation in Berlin

At BSBI, we are happy to assist students with finding accommodation in Berlin and we can help with a variety of housing options, depending on your preference and budget.

BSBI does not guarantee the provision of housing nor does it provide on-campus accommodation, however we can still do a lot to help you find the right place to live during your studies in Berlin.

If you would like to reserve accommodation via our partner Spotahome (www.spotahome.com), you can send enquiries to bsbi@spotahome.com. You will get a 30% discount on the reservation rate when you receive your BSBI confirmation of study.

How it works

Online Booking

Once you receive your visa and to have booked your flight, you can start to search for your accommodation via our partner’s Spotahome or Uniplaces.

Connecting

You will get in contact with your landlord and reserve the property. Multilingual customer service teams are there to support you through every step of the process.

Tenancy Agreement

The agreement is signed during check in. All students have to register their residence in Berlin within 14 days after they have moved into their accommodation.

Flat share

If you decide to share a flat, you can choose from single, double or twin rooms. A flat share is a great opportunity to share experiences with other international students.

Prices will vary based on the size of the flat, location, and furnishings.

  • Shared rooms start from €380 per person each month.
  • A single room in a shared apartment starts from €450 per person each month.

Studio/Flat rent

If you’d prefer your own space, we can help you find individual accommodation. There are many studio apartments dotted around Berlin, from Zone 1 (city centre) to zone 4 (outskirts of city).

Central Berlin prices for

  • Double rooms start from €145 per week
  • Single rooms start from €95 per week

About Spotahome

Spotahome is a 100% online booking platform for mid to long term home rentals in Europe.

Home checkers personally visit the properties to take 360º professional photos, design floor plans, and create high-definition video tours of the property and neighborhood.

BSBI has partnered with Village M, a company which offers fully furnished and recently renovated apartments in great locations around Berlin. Rooms come with electricity, water and high-speed internet. BSBI students can apply for a 10% discount on their first month’s rent. 

NGB-Living

NGB-Living Berlin is a student housing company that provides affordable housing solutions in the central parts of the city and other convenient locations.

With over 250 properties and a decade of presence, it is amongst the biggest student housing solutions providers in Berlin. The apartments offered are furnished at a level that will suit long-term student stays. Students also get secure rental contracts with landlord confirmation; these are required for the Anmeldung minimum of six months.
